Hlavní téma – diabetologie

Vážené dámy a vážení pánové,

hlavním tématem aktuálního čísla Vnitřního lékařství je diabetologie. Diabetes mellitus, jeho komplikace, komorbidity, aktuality v léčbě diabetu, včetně využití nových technologií, pravidelně plní stránky řady odborných časopisů. Jde o téma důležité vzhledem k rostoucí prevalenci pacientů, a to nejen z pohledu medicínského, ale též socioekonomického, ale i téma atraktivní, neboť stále přicházejí nové informace jak v diagnostice a monitoraci diabetu, či jeho komplikací, tak po stránce terapeutického ovlivnění. Jsem rád, že vybrané články, které si pro vás připravili odborníci různých specializací, pokračují v tomto duchu a zároveň nabídnou i širší pohled na problémy, se kterými se lékař při péči o diabetiky setkává...
