[Do HLA-B37 and HLA-B27 antigens cross react?].

A Májský

Anti-HLA-B37 serum of Behringwerke gave a positive cytotoxic test with 18 of 24 samples of B37 negative B27 positive lymphocytes. With lymphocytes which had none of these antigens the reaction was always negative. The author discusses whether the results are evidence of the cross reactivity between antigens HLA-B37 and B27 or whether it is due to traces of anti-HLA-B27 antibodies in the above serum.
