Milí čtenáři, hlavním tématem tohoto čísla časopisu Vnitřní lékařství je multimorbidita. Tento relativně nedávno vzniklý termín bývá definován jako přítomnost dvou nebo více chronických onemocnění současně u stejného pacienta, nebo dle novější a omezenější definice jako komplexní interakce několika současně existujících onemocnění (1).
