Žilní tromboembolie nejen v době covidové – možnosti prevence

Společnost VIATRIS podpořila přednášku věnovanou žilní tromboembolii (VTE) v souvislosti s onemocněním covid-19. Tato infekce významně zvyšuje riziko VTE, a její výskyt tak v české populaci v době pandemie značně narostl. Tromboprofylaxe by měla být podávána všem pacientům hospitalizovaným s covidem-19, ale vhodná je také u vybraných pacientů se zvýšeným rizikem VTE po propuštění z nemocnice nebo při ambulantní léčbě této infekce. Diskutována je i tromboprofylaxe po vakcinaci. Pro domácí profylaxi je vhodný nízkomolekulární heparin nebo fondaparinux. Fondaparinux se uplatňuje i v léčbě vakcinací indukované trombotické trombocytopenie, která byla nově popsána po očkování proti covidu-19.
